Srila Gurudeva: There are those who are doing vaidhi-bhakti and those who are doing raganuga-bhakti. But Bhaktivinoda Thakura is saying that if there is real greed to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal, then you should avoid all this dharma and adharma. See that Krsna will manage everything, even if we give up dharma and adharma. We will even have to forget the statements of the Vedas, Puranas, Upanisads, Srimad-Bhagavatam, and Bhagavad-Gita that establish Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Try to understand this. This is for those who have greed to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal like the gopis or any of the Vrajavasis. It has been said especially for those who have the greed to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal like Rupa Gosvami or like Rupa Manjari or the gopis. For this, you will have to forget all kinds of logic and arguments that state that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
He will even have to forget all these things. “Krsna is like God, Krsna has six kinds of opulences, He can destroy the whole world in a moment and in a moment He can create a new world.” You will have to forget all these things. Who is Krsna? You will only have to remember that He is simply Yasoda-nandana. He doesn’t have any of this opulence. There is no need for arguments to establish that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that He is the God of gods, sarvesvari. You don’t need to know anything like this. Only remember that He is Yasoda-nandana, Gopi-kanta, Radha-kanta. Jnane prayasam udapasya namanta eva (Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.14.3). You will also have to forget all this tattva-jnana. Then try to follow the Vrajavasis like the gopis or His friends like Sridama, Subala. Or His mother Yasoda or Nanda Baba. You will have to have greed for this. Then you should always try to serve Radha-Krsna conjugal.
You may ask, “Who will guide us?” Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu will, because He has come very recently. After Vraja-lila was finished, the deities in Vrndavana were like covered. So Krsna Himself, taking the internal mood and beauty of Radhika, appeared from the womb of Saci-devi. He is so merciful because now He has the combined mercy of both Radha and Krsna. You should always understand, saci-sunum nandisvara-pati-sutatve, that Sacinandana Gaurahari is Himself Krsna, Yasoda-nandana or Gopi-kanta, Radha-kanta. He is the same as Krsna Himself. You should not think that He is separate. You should not think that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is junior or inferior to Krsna. Krsna Himself is Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, there is no difference at all. He has descended to Navadvipa and He has sold a new kind of bhajana-pranali (a process of bhajana). What is that? He brought gopi-bhajana. Before Him, nobody else had given this process. Not since the previous day of Brahma when Caitanya Mahaprabhu had previously appeared. That is why we should not try to give up vraja-bhajana and do bhajana of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu like those who follow sahajiyas like gaura-nagari. People think, “If Krsna is Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, then we should serve Him like Krsna. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is Krsna and we are like gopis so we should serve Caitanya Mahaprabhu as the gopis serve Krsna, as a beloved.” Don’t do this, because Caitanya Mahaprabhu has not given this. Always remember this.
