Srila Gurudeva: Krsna has become Sacinandana, They are not separate. But still Their form is different. In raganuga-marga, you should treat Him like Guru, bhajaniya-guru, He who has given the process of raganuga-bhakti. He is the Guru of vraja-rasa. Krsna Himself, coming in the form of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, He is the only Guru. Nobody else is Guru. All other Gurus are only partly Gurus. Akhanda-guru is Caitanya Mahaprabhu, not even Nityananda Prabhu. Only Caitanya Mahaprabhu and His associates like Svarupa Damodara, Raya Ramananda, Rupa Gosvami, and Raghunatha dasa Gosvami, only they have given this. You should think that Caitanya Mahaprabhu is your bhajana-guru because He gave this knowledge to Rupa Gosvami in Prayaga. He gave this knowledge to Sanatana Gosvami in Varanasi. He gave this knowledge to Ramananda Raya. Mahaprabhu inspired in him the highest kind of love and affection, Rasaraja-Mahabhava. Anyone else cannot inspire this thing. So He is surely the Guru of this tattva. Who? Krsna Himself in the form of Sacinandana Gaurahari.
You should see that Sacinandana is our Guru, bhajana-guru, and He is giving everything. When you are chanting “Hare Krsna Hare Krsna” and you remember the pastimes of Krsna, first you should do pranama to Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We know these things only by His mercy. He is Guru. Krsna is my Guru, but in the form of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He is explaining everything about this. So when you begin to remember asta-kaliya-lila or when you are chanting and remembering in this way, then you should do pranama and first serve Gauracandra like a Guru. Then you can chant and remember Radha-Krsna asta- kaliya-lila. So first we should do pranama and begin everything by remembering Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Sacinandana Gaurahari. Caitanya Mahaprabhu also has asta-kaliya-lila. In the morning, the very early morning, He gets up from His bed and being absorbed in separation from Krsna, He starts weeping. He remembers the meeting of Radha-Krsna and how They must now separate. He remembers how Srimati Radhika is suffering so much separation from Krsna. Thinking about this, He begins to weep. So first do pranama to Caitanya Mahaprabhu and then meditate on the nisanta-lila of Krsna.
You should think of your bhajana-guru like Lalita. How were Vrajanatha and Vijaya Kumara seeing their Guru? Vijaya Kumara was thinking, “He is my bhajana-guru, Lalita.” But Vrajanatha was seeing the same Guru and thinking, “Oh, he is Subala sakha.” So, Bhaktivinoda Thakura has not referred to the diksa-guru here. Why? If the diksa-guru is the bhajana-guru, then he should be remembered. But if the diksa-guru is not the bhajana-guru, then he will not be remembered. Who will be remembered? The bhajana-siksa-guru who is giving so many things related to Radha-Krsna conjugal. Like Narottama Thakura and Syamananda Prabhu. When they would do arcana, they would remember their diksa-guru. But when they would meditate on asta-kaliya-lila and all other things, they would remember Jiva Gosvami. In what way? As Vilasa-manjari. Here, the diksa-guru is not giving bhajana siksa. He will not be remembered here. But he will be remembered in arcana-marga. We should know that the bhajana-guru, our Gurudeva, is our yuthesvari. So we should try to understand these meanings very deeply. He is saying that, “Caitanya Mahaprabhu is my Gurudeva because He has given that process of bhajana to Radha and Krsna.” So we should know all these things. We should very deeply think about all these things. If you don’t understand something, you can ask anything. These are very deep subjects, very deep things. It is not for ordinary people. This is for very high-class Vaisnavas.
