If your Kṛṣṇa consciousness is developing then your life is successful. If not—if you are very wealthy and you have a high position and are very beautiful and you have all good qualities, but this quality is not there, then Kṛṣṇa consciousness is not there—then there is no use of this life.
In this life you should only try to develop your Kṛṣṇa consciousness. If the whole world is against you—no harm.
These are the teachings of Śrīla Rūpa-Raghunātha and our Guru-paramparā. Don’t try to buy bhakti by wealth and money. By service. Pure heart. Internal service to Gurudeva. And you should always remember. What should we remember? Kṛṣṇa has made some promises. Those who are always continuously chanting and remembering—they have no time to maintain themselves and family— Kṛṣṇa will come. Kṛṣṇa has promised. Then why fear? If we have strong faith in His words, then Kṛṣṇa—certainly He is bound to fulfill His promise. All others may give up their promise, but He cannot. We should try to realize all these things and always be very conscious to be a high-class devotee.
