These days everyone wants pratiṣṭhā—name and fame. But if you want to receive the love of Gaurahari, and if you want to perform hari-bhajana, then first of all you must be tṛṇād api sunīcena: you must become extremely humble and feel yourself completely destitute. What is the value of all your learning, wealth, and other possessions? Tomorrow, or the day after, you will die. There is no guarantee when you will die. Your material body is not permanent, but still you are so attached to everything in relation to it.
