If you want to chant the name of Gaurahari with tears in your eyes and with your heart melting, then you should take shelter of the lotus feet of Nityananda Prabhu. Without this, you cannot do so. Because he is akhanda-guru-tattva. Our Gurudeva is a manifestation of that Nityananda Prabhu, Baladeva Prabhu. He is none other than Nityananda Prabhu. But only if he is bona-fide, not if he is a bogus Guru, those who are daily falling, ten times or lakhs times a day they are falling down. Their heart cannot touch Krsna. They will not cry by chanting ‘Hare Krsna’ or by chanting ‘Gauranga bolite habe pulaka sarira,’ never. That is why they are not touching this transcendental land. They were fallen and they are fallen now. At that time we could not see that they are fallen, but they were never elevated, never, never. An elevated person cannot fall down, never. So, we should not be worried for this. If we have unknowingly made them our Guru, then very quickly we should reject them and very soon we should find a bona-fide Guru. Because all sastra, all scriptures are telling like that. In one second we should reject them and we should try to find a real Guru.
Because our life is meant to realize Krsna. We have given this heart to Krsna, so those who will help us, they are my Guru. And those who cannot help me, they are not Guru. This is a very ordinary thing to realize. They don’t want your delicious fruits or anything, garments or anything. Those who only want to give you this highest class of love and devotion to Krsna, they are really Guru. They are a non-different manifestation of akhanda-guru-tattva, coming from Nityananda Prabhu. So we cannot have this thing without His mercy. Caitanya Mahaprabhu may consider something, whether to give this to us or not. Like with Jagai and Madhai. He gave it to Jagai first, but He was not willing to give it to Madhai. But Nityananda Prabhu told Him, “Oh, if you are not giving this to Madhai, then I will be so worried. You have come to give Your mercy to all. Both were playing, gambling, and quarreling together. I am happy that he made a cut on My head. I don’t mind. So please be merciful. I am praying that You should be merciful to him.” Then Mahaprabhu gave him His mercy. So Nityananda Prabhu is more merciful.
