Srila Gurudeva: Caitanya Mahaprabhu teaches us that if you want to bring Krsna and Radha in your heart and have Them sit there, then your heart should be like Vrndavana. If you are not making your heart like Vrndavana, very pure and transcendental, then Krsna cannot come there. If you have any worldly desires, they are like thorns. They will pinch Krsna's body. So give up all these things. What are they? Kama, krodha, lobha, mada, moha, matsarya. What are they? Kama, lust, anger, greed for worldly desires, dvesa, envy, hating, all these things. Attachment for worldly things, quarreling, criticizing anyone. If you want bhakti, don’t criticize anyone, don’t be angry. You should try to tolerate.
When you have a desire that, “I am serving Krsna by chanting, this is my service. O Krsna, You should come, purify my heart and be always here in my heart. Be merciful to me.” If you are surrendering, offering yourself at the lotus feet of Krsna, mercifully Krsna will come and dance on your tongue. You will think, “I am chanting,” but this is not fact. Krsna’s transcendental name, Krsna Himself will be dancing on your tongue. But you are thinking, “Oh, we are chanting.” Never. There is nama-aparadha and suddha-nama. When you are chanting by your tongue, by your own force and endeavor and all these things, then this is nama-aparadha. But when you will chant with some sraddha, then it will be nama-abhasa. But if it is pure nama then it is Himself Krsna.
So, we should try to pray to Krsna, “I am offering myself at Your lotus feet. I am giving up all these worldly desires. You are my only beloved.” Like the gopis. If you will chant like this, then Krsna may come and sit in your heart. So, if you want to bring Krsna and Radhika in your heart, you’ll have to clear it and purify it. Then Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subhadra will come there. Otherwise, They will never come. This is Gundica marjana. You will have to give up all your worldly desires. But how can you do this? You should please your Gurudeva. You should serve your Gurudeva. He will give you strength. Why is this strength necessary? Because he has a sword and it is very sharp. His teachings are like a sword and by this, he will cut all these things by hari-katha and he will purify your heart. You are not qualified to purify your heart yourself. You don’t know where and how all the dust and thorns and stones are here. So he will do this, but you will have to offer yourself at the lotus feet of Gurudeva. This is Gundica Mandira marjana.
